NOVELTY - A molybdenum disulfide nanosheet/graphene nano-ribbons composite comprises molybdenum disulfide nanosheet grown on graphene nano-ribbons by solvothermal process, and is obtained using raw materials chosen from carbon nanotubes, potassium permanganate, concentrated sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, ammonium thiosulfate and hydrazine hydrate. USE - Molybdenum disulfide nanosheet/graphene nano-ribbons composite is used for high-performance electrochemical hydrogen-evolution catalyst material, lithium ion battery material and solar cell electrode material (all claimed).
