NOVELTY - Preparation of fluorescent functional graphene oxide, involves ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide to obtain anhydrous N,N-dimethylformamide and uniformly dispersing to obtain graphene oxide dispersion liquid, dispersing graphene oxide by adding thionyl chloride, removing supernatant and adding amino acid, performing reflux reaction, adding deionized water, re-dispersing the resulting supernatant liquid in deionized water, washing with deionized water after centrifugation, re-dispersing graphene oxide solution having luminescent properties of covalently modified amino acids. USE - Preparation of fluorescent functional graphene oxide (claimed) used for biomarkers and cell imaging. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide has stronger fluorescence, good dispersity in water, good biocompatibility and low cytotoxicity. The fluorescence quantum yield is obviously increased. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of fluorescent functional graphene oxide, involves ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide to obtain anhydrous N,N-dimethylformamide and uniformly dispersing to obtain graphene oxide dispersion liquid, dispersing graphene oxide by adding thionyl chloride, preparing graphene oxide by reacting an oil bath, centrifuging the product, removing the supernatant, washing the remaining solid with tetrahydrofuran, introducing nitrogen, adding amino acid at 65-75 degrees C, performing reflux reaction for 24-72 hours, adding deionized water when the temperature is reduced to room temperature, obtaining a supernatant liquid by high-speed centrifuge, re-dispersing the resulting product in deionized water, washing with deionized water after centrifugation by rotary evaporator to dryness, re-dispersing graphene oxide solution having luminescent properties of covalently modified amino acids.
