NOVELTY - Manufacturing a display module (1) comprises: forming an epitaxial film comprising a light emitting layer, a first type semiconductor layer and a second type semiconductor layer; attaching the epitaxial film onto an intermediate substrate (40) comprising a conductive material; patterning the epitaxial film to form a LED (50); and electrically connecting the LED to a driving circuit layer (20) through the conductive material. The LED has a vertical structure, and the conductive material comprises at least one of carbon nano tube, graphene or metal nano wire. The intermediate substrate further comprises an adhesive material, where the adhesive material comprises at least one of epoxy, polyimide or phenol. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing a display module, which is useful in display device (all claimed) for displaying images as well as general lighting devices. ADVANTAGE - The method involves the micro LED that emits light properly, thus increasing the yield for production of the display module.
