NOVELTY - Graphene-layered porous carbon composite material comprises graphene and porous carbon on graphene surface. USE - Graphene-layered porous carbon composite material used as active substance of for negative electrode for lithium-ion capacitor half cell (all claimed) and in lithium-ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The graphene layered porous carbon composite material has low charging and discharging platform, high specific capacity and excellent rate performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: preparation of graphene-layered porous carbon composite material, which involves (1) mixing a dispersion liquid (I) containing graphene and polycation electrolyte to obtain surface modified graphene, (2) mixing dispersion liquid (II) containing the surface modified graphene and the template agent to obtain graphene-containing template agent, (3) and reacting dispersion liquid (III) containing graphene template agent, a carbon source and a precipitant, calcining and removing the template agent; negative electrode material which comprises the composite material as active substance; an electrode, comprising the active substance containing the composite material, a conductive agent, a binder and a current collector; manufacture of the electrode; and lithium-ion capacitor half-cell, comprising the negative electrode, a lithium plate, an electrolyte and positive electrode.
