NOVELTY - The electric double layer capacitor has an electrode and an electrolyte solution. The electrode has a current collector (300) and an electrode layer formed on the current collector. The electrode layer contains graphene or graphene oxide (200). The direction of graphene or graphene oxide is 6 degrees or more with respect to a plane parallel to the current collector. The electrode layer further contains a conductive support agent such as carbon nanotube or carbon nanofiber, and a binder. USE - Electric double layer capacitor. ADVANTAGE - Reduces internal resistance of the electric double layer capacitor.
