NOVELTY - Preparing graphene having large area comprises mixing oxygen-containing organic polymer and nickel salt and then placing in an inert gas atmosphere and calcining at 500-800 degrees C, then washing the calcined product with an acid liquid and drying to obtain final product. USE - The graphene is useful as electrode material for sodium ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene has excellent electrochemical performance; and the method has simple preparation process, short reaction cycle, high yield and is suitable for industrial production.
