NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene oxide-reinforced magnesium-based composite material involves subjecting oxidized graphite to ultrasonic dispersion treatment, obtaining oxidized graphite dispersion, mixing the dispersion, a solvent and magnesium chips, drying at 0.08-0.098 MPa and 35-100 degrees C, heating to 250-350 degrees C for 10-20 minutes, and press-molding. The solvent is chosen from alcohol, water and hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide. The ratio of oxidized graphite, solvent and magnesium chips is 0.25-0.3 g:200 mL:89.6-89.8 g. USE - Manufacture of graphene oxide-reinforced magnesium-based composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical manufacture of graphene oxide-reinforced magnesium-based composite material with high recycling rate of magnesium waste.
