NOVELTY - Preparation of nitrated graphene comprises dispersing graphite powder in deionized water to obtain suspension of graphite powder, mixing potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide, adding suspension of graphite powder, reacting to obtain gray micro expanded graphite precipitate, washing precipitate, filtering, drying to obtain micro expanded graphite sheet, expanding micro expanded graphite sheet by microwave excitation to obtain high active graphene, dispersing highly active graphene in solvent to obtain highly active graphene dispersion, mixing concentrated nitric acid and strong protonic acid to obtain mixed acid, placing highly active graphene dispersion in container, removing solvent by vacuum distillation, adding mixed acid to container, reacting to obtain nitrated graphene sol, filtering nitrifying graphene sol to obtain nitrifying graphene gel, purifying nitrifying graphene gel, washing, filtering and drying. USE - The method is for preparation of nitrated graphene. ADVANTAGE - The microwave excitation ensures the complete expansion of micro expanded graphite powder. The graphene has high activity, low oxygen content, good stability and compatibility. The nitrification of highly active graphene by mixed acid ensures the nitrification rate of nitrified graphene can be adjusted and has 50% high nitrification rate of nitrified graphene.
