NOVELTY - Method for preparing graphene reinforced silver-based electrical contact material, involves preparing silver-nickel alloy powder having particle size of 200-300 mesh by carrying out atomization of 5.0-20.0 wt.% nickel and 80.0-95.0 wt.% silver, mixing graphene with silver-nickel alloy powder in a weight ratio of 0.1-5.0:95.0-99.9, transferring into a ball mill and ball milling, putting the powder into a mold, hot press sintering, and carrying extrusion or rolling process. USE - Method for preparing graphene reinforced silver-based electrical contact material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene reinforced silver-based electrical contact material is prepared without reducing electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, while improving the hardness of arc erosion resistance of the electrical contact material.
