NOVELTY - Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) foamed bead containing thin layer of graphene permanent antistatic light gray coating comprises TPU foamed beads and thin layer of graphene-containing aqueous polyurethane solution spray-coated on the surface of the TPU foamed beads to form an aqueous polyurethane antistatic coating having a thickness of 10-200 mu m, where the TPU foamed bead surface is cleaned by ultrasonic wave, degreasing and low temperature plasma activation treatment, the aqueous polyurethane solution includes aqueous polyurethane, thin-layer graphene slurry, aqueous antioxidant, aqueous titanium dioxide slurry, cross-linking agent, and deionized water. USE - Used as thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) foamed bead containing thin layer of graphene permanent antistatic light gray coating. ADVANTAGE - The thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) foamed bead containing thin layer of graphene permanent antistatic light gray coating has uniform and stable antistatic property. The method is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) foamed bead containing thin layer of graphene permanent antistatic light gray coating using spray coating and drying device having drum-shaped drum with an open top, outlet connected to hot air pipe inside the drum and connected to hot air blowing device outside the drum, stirrer installed in the drum to help disperse the TPU foam beads, and spray gun for spraying with outlet located in the drum and connected to liquid tank outside the drum through pipe comprises (1) ultrasonically cleaning surface of TPU foamed beads, and drying at 50-100 degrees C, (2) performing low-temperature plasma treatment to treat surface of the TPU foamed beads, (3) mixing aqueous polyurethane, thin-layer graphene aqueous slurry, aqueous antioxidant, aqueous titanium dioxide slurry, cross-linking agent, and deionized water uniformly, combining with ultrasonic dispersion to prepare thin-layer graphene-containing aqueous polyurethane solution, and (4) adding TPU foamed beads to drum of the spray drying device, starting the drum to rotate, heating, drying using hot air, pre-heating TPU foamed beads at 80-105oC, starting stirrer to disperse TPU foamed beads, spraying surface of the TPU foamed beads with spray gun on the surface of the aqueous polyurethane spray solution containing thin layer of graphene, intermittently and repeatedly heating and drying surface sprayed with thin layer of graphene-containing aqueous polyurethane spray solution, stopping spraying until aqueous polyurethane solution is completely consumed, forming uniform coating on the surface of the TPU foamed beads, drying until the surface coating of the TPU foamed beads is dried; and (2) molded body of TPU foamed beads containing a thin layer of graphene permanent antistatic light gray coating having surface resistivity of 108-1010 Omega prepared by adding PU foamed beads containing the thin-layer graphene permanent antistatic light gray coating in mold of foamed bead molding machine, heating by steam, cooling and de-molding.
