NOVELTY - Preparing composite fiber with shape memory performance and strain sensing performance, comprises (1) pre-mixing the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer containing vinyl acetate, triallyl isocyanurate and benzophenone, and melting the mixture through a twin-screw extruder and extruding under UV-light radiation cross-linking under a lamp to obtain cross-linked ethylene-vinyl acetate fiber; (2) dispersing the graphene oxide powder in a mixed solution of acetone and water, and performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain a graphene oxide (GO) dispersion; and (3) soaking the cross-linked ethylene-vinyl acetate fiber in a toluene solution to swell it, and soaking the swollen EVA fiber in the graphene oxide dispersion for ultrasonic treatment, preparing the graphene oxide/ethylene-vinyl acetate (GO/EVA) composite fiber; placing the GO/EVA composite fiber in hydroiodic acid for reduction to obtain RGO/EVA composite fiber. USE - The method is useful for preparing composite fiber with shape memory performance and strain sensing performance.
