NOVELTY - Composition comprises functionalized graphene nanoribbons, where functionalized graphene nanoribbons comprises water solubilizing addends functionalized at the edges of the graphene nanoribbons, fusogen agent, and functionalized graphene nanoribbons are mixed with the fusogen agent. USE - Composition used in spinal cord repairs, spinal cord treatments, neuronal repairs, neuronal treatments, brain tissue repairs, brain tissue treatments, and whole-body transplants (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composition high aspect ratio of the G R (i.e. ratio of 100-200 nm wide for 5 microns long G R). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing composition, which involves selecting a composition comprises functionalized graphene nanoribbons, where functionalized graphene nanoribbons are edge functionalized with water-soluble addends; and utilizing the composition; and (2) a method for treating or repair spinal cord, which involves utilizing the composition comprises coating ends of the spinal cord located at the complete transection with the composition and then holding the ends of the spinal cord in contact with one another.
