NOVELTY - A crosslinked polyethylene insulated cable comprises a cable core covered with a cable sleeve. The cable sleeve comprises 35-60 pts. wt. low-density polyethylene, 15-40 pts. wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 0.5-2 pts. wt. crosslinking agent, 1-5 pts. wt. antiaging agent, 1-3 pts. wt. UV absorbent, 1-3 pts. wt. plasticizer and 8-15 pts. wt. composite prepared by compounding graphene and zinc oxide. USE - Crosslinked polyethylene insulated cable used in distribution network, industrial device or large capacity electric applications. ADVANTAGE - The crosslinked polyethylene insulated cable has improved antiaging performance with respect to the sleeve by the synergistic effect of the raw materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the crosslinked polyethylene insulated cable, which involves (S1) mixing low-density polyethylene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, heating, adding crosslinking agent, antiaging agent, UV absorbent, plasticizer and composite, and uniformly mixing to obtain mixture, and (S2) extruding mixture outside cable core, cooling and forming to obtain cable sleeve.
