▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Producing a hydrogel composition, comprises: (a) providing titanium dioxide nanorods and loading carbon quantum dots onto the titanium dioxide nanorods to form a first mixture; (b) providing a second mixture of dispersed graphene oxide; (c) mixing the first and second mixture by ultrasonic dispersion to form a third mixture; and (d) adding a reducing agent to the third mixture to form the hydrogel composition that defines a three-dimensional porous and continuous crosslinked structure. USE - The method is useful for producing a hydrogel composition which is useful for photocatalytic hydrogen production and storage, and in an electrode, capacitor, fuel cell, solar cell, sensor, battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method utilizes carbon dots that are derived from alternate green carbon source (e.g. vitamin C) instead of graphitic precursor such green carbon source, which serves an inexpensive precursor and could easily be realized by a one-pot hydrothermal synthesis. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a hydrogel composition comprising: a graphene; a titanium dioxide nanotube array; and a carbon quantum dot, where the hydrogel composition defines a three-dimensional porous and continuous crosslinked structure.
