NOVELTY - The sensor (5) has a detection film (1) formed with two-dimensional semiconductor material. A graphene (2) is in contact with a side of the detection film. A metal electrode (3) is in contact with an other side of the detection film. The two-dimensional semiconductor material is made of molybdenum disulfide. The metal electrode is made of gold, palladium, scandium, nickel, and titanium dioxide. The metal electrode is formed with metal material. The graphene is interposed between the metal electrode and a molybdenum disulfide thin film. USE - Gas sensor i.e. olfaction sensor, for use during medical treatment. ADVANTAGE - The graphene is in contact with the side of the detection film and the metal electrode is in contact with the other side of the detection film, so that height of a Schottky barrier according to work function of the metal material can be obtained.
