NOVELTY - Photodetector comprises graphene and a conductive polymer. The conductive polymer is poly(3-hexylthiopene) (P3HT) nanowires. USE - Photodetector. ADVANTAGE - The photodetector promote light scattering and reabsorption of light to provide improved photoresponsivity or optoelectronic response. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of making a hybrid photodetector, which involves: (A) providing regioregular poly(3-hexylthiopene) and atomically thin graphene; (B) using a Whiskers method or a mixed solvent method to make the regioregular P3HT self-assemble into P3HT nanowires; and (C) dropping or spin-casting the P3HT nanowires onto the graphene to form a conductive nanowire mesh hybrid photodetector.
