NOVELTY - A nanoparticle intercalated graphene oxide film comprises graphene oxide which is electrostatically sprayed onto a microporous membrane and stacked. The nanoparticles are inserted between graphene oxide sheets. The particle size of nanoparticles is 10-40 nm. The nanoparticles are hydrophilic nanoparticles. USE - Nanoparticle intercalated graphene oxide film for use in sewage treatment and desalination applications (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanoparticle intercalated graphene oxide film can effectively increase the graphene oxide sheet spacing, increase pure water flux, and maintain high rejection rate for organic dyes. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing Nanoparticle intercalated graphene oxide film, which involves adding graphene oxide and nanoparticles into a solvent to uniformly disperse the mixed solution, and obtaining nanoparticle- intercalated graphene oxide film by spraying the mixed solution onto the microporous membrane by electrostatic spraying.
