NOVELTY - Silicon-based anode material comprises silicon-based anode material core and polymer coating coupled on surface of the core. The anode material exhibits core-coating structure. The polymer coating is amorphous macromolecule formed by click polymerization of octamercaptopropyl oligomeric silsesquioxane and bis(allyl)lithium borate. USE - The material is useful in lithium-ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The coating: has excellent ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability; can precisely control thickness by the dosage of the precursor; has simple preparation method; promotes the stable formation of the organic-inorganic hybrid solid electrolyte membrane; significantly buffers the volume expansion effect of the silicon cathode; and exhibits excellent cycle stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the material, comprising (1) adding the silane coupling agent to the hydrochloric acid solution under the protection of inert atmosphere, refluxing under heating, where the reaction temperature is 40-90℃, the reaction time is 2-48 hours, obtaining white paste product, and obtaining white crystal after recrystallization, (2) adding allylmalonic acid, lithium salt and boric acid to the organic solvent in molar ratio of 2:1:1 under the protection of inert atmosphere, refluxing under heating, where the reaction temperature is 40-90℃, the reaction time is 2-48 hours, collecting the filtrate after cooling, removing the solvent by rotary evaporation to obtain oily liquid, and obtaining white crystals after recrystallization, and (3) dissolving the two monomers in organic solvent in a molar ratio of 1:4, adding photoinitiator to make dispersion liquid, where the mass of the initiator is 0.5-2 wt.% of the total mass of the monomer, adding certain quality of silicon-based cathode material into the above dispersion liquid, continuously stirring after sufficient ultrasonic dispersion, placing it under the ultraviolet lamp of 250-400 nm wavelength to irradiate for 5-30 minutes, evaporating the solvent and vacuum drying, and obtaining polymer-coated silicon-based cathode material with ion-conducting properties.
