▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A composite photocatalyst and its derivatives comprises cadmium sulfide (CdS) nanoparticles, titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles, and graphene sheet. USE - Composite photocatalyst and its derivatives used for visible light photocatalytic activity for selective oxidation of toluene and its aldehyde (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The photocatalyst has sheet-like structure, has conversion rate of toluene up to 65-73% and corresponding aldehyde up to 98%. The method is simple, visible light-driven energy, and conducive to sustainable development of environment and energy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of photocatalyst by (A) dissolving cadmium acetate dihydrate in deionized water to obtain first clear solution; dissolving sodium sulfide nonahydrate in deionized water to obtain second clear solution, dropping to first solution while stirring for 24-48 hours, filtering, washing, and drying to obtain CdS sample; (B) dispersing liquid n-butyl titanate in anhydrous ethanol, sealing, poking holes to cover with needles, and stirring for 36-72 hours to obtain TiO2 colloid; (C) ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide (GO) in deionized water to obtain GO solution; (D) mixing with CdS sample and TiO2 colloid, stirring for 12-36 hours, and rotary evaporating at 40-60 degrees C; and (E) dispersing in deionized water, hydrothermally reacting to 120-150 degrees C for 8-16 hours, cooling, filtering, washing, and drying.
