NOVELTY - Bioelectrode comprises a working electrode with a modified surface with a polymeric film of polytyramine followed by immobilization with a specific anti-C-reactive protein antibody. USE - The bioelectrode is useful for identifying infarcted patients and diagnosing acute myocardial infarction. ADVANTAGE - The bioelectrode identifies infected patients in a cost-effective, rapid and accurate manner with specificity and portability.
