NOVELTY - Composite material comprises 100 pts. wt. a cyanate ester resin, 10-50 pts. wt. an inorganic filler and 2-7.5 pts. wt. a modifier. The inorganic filler comprises zinc oxide crystal whisker and graphene in a ratio of 2:1-1:10. The modifier is 2,2-diallyl bisphenol A. USE - The composite material is useful in aerospace and electronic packaging. ADVANTAGE - The composite material exhibits superior thermal stability and good electrical insulation property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the preparation of the composite material, comprising heating and melting cyanate ester resin and 2,2-diallyl bisphenol A, stirring the mixture at a temperature of 100-140 degrees C for 15-30 minutes, adding zinc oxide crystal whisker and graphite and stirring the mixture for 15-45 minutes, heating the resulting mixture at a temperature of 120-140 degrees C for 30-180 minutes, processing the reaction mixture at a temperature of 130-150 degrees C under vacuum to remove air bubbles and then curing the processed mixture.
