NOVELTY - Graphene-symmetry ruthenium complex composite film (I) is new. The ruthenium complex contains pair of pyrenyl and highly ordered pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) surface by non-covalent bond. The ruthenium complex molecule is fixed on HOPG surface, and fixed with pyrenyl graphene by spin coating function. USE - Graphene-symmetry ruthenium complex composite film used for single molecule symmetry ruthenium complex self-assembled graphene membrane (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The film has good stability which ensures good thickness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene-symmetry ruthenium complex composite film of formula (I) is new. The ruthenium complex contains pair of pyrenyl and highly ordered pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) surface by non-covalent bond. The ruthenium complex molecule is fixed on HOPG surface, and fixed with pyrenyl graphene by spin coating function. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the preparation of single molecule symmetry ruthenium complex self-assembled graphene membrane comprising (A) preparing HOPG substrate ruthenium complex self-assembled monolayers by adding methylene chloride in clean container, adding (I), dissolving to get ruthenium complex solution; pressing tape on HOPG surface, peeling off to get HOPG with electrically smooth conductive surface; and immersing HOPG in ruthenium complex solution, removing air bubbles, removing HOPG substrate at room temperature, washing, and blow drying with dichloromethane inert gas; (B) dissolving sodium dodecyl sulfate in water, dispersing graphene, ultrasonic dispersing, centrifuging to remove bottom residue and obtain graphene dispersion; and (C) immobilizing HOPG substrate ruthenium complex self-assembled monolayers on spin coater, spin coating with graphene dispersion, naturally drying, washing with methanol, removing surfactant, and drying with inert gas.
