▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Graphene-supported atomically dispersed palladium-based catalysts comprises graphene as the carrier and palladium as the active material through a top-down strategy, and obtained by preparing the palladium nanoparticle catalyst, and treating with nitric acid vapor to reduce the size and quantity of palladium nanoparticles, and dispersing the palladium nanoparticles into single atoms, and uniformly dispersing palladium metal on the graphene carrier in the form of single atoms. USE - The catalyst is useful in the selective hydrogenation of benzaldehyde to prepare benzyl alcohol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst efficiently hydrogenates benzaldehyde to benzyl alcohol under mild conditions, shows better catalytic activity, and improves the selectivity to benzyl alcohol. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene-supported atomically dispersed palladium-based catalysts, comprising (i) loading palladium onto the graphene carrier by deposition and precipitation method, and performing pure hydrogen reduction treatment to prepare palladium nanoparticle catalyst, and (ii) placing the palladium nanoparticle catalyst into a hydrothermal reaction kettle as a precursor, treating with nitric acid vapor, and performing pure hydrogen reduction treatment; and use of graphene-supported atomically dispersed palladium-based catalysts in the selective hydrogenation of benzaldehyde to prepare benzyl alcohol.
