NOVELTY - Boride modified thermosetting phenolic resin is claimed. The resin is prepared by adding a thermosetphenolic resin alcohol solution to a boron-containing compound, heating, cooling and adding a modifier, reacting at room temperature, then heating, vacuum extracting and removing a solvent, adding a toughening agent, and then removing the solvent. USE - Boride modified thermosetting phenolic resin is used for preparation and degradation of composite material used for industrial production. Uses include but are not limited to automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications. ADVANTAGE - The boride modified thermosetting phenolic resin has excellent oxidation resistance, instantaneous high temperature resistance, high residual carbon rate, low volatile characteristic, outstanding comprehensive performance and excellent heat-resistant performance.
