NOVELTY - Paint comprises 0.4-0.6 pt. wt. modified graphene, 2-3 pts. wt. polyacrylamide, 4-6 pts. wt. sodium silicate, 1-2 pts. wt. n-butanol, 3-5 pts. wt. glycerol monostearate, 0.5-0.8 pt. wt. carboxymethyl cellulose, 4-7 pts. wt. talc powder and 40-50 pts. wt. epoxy resin. The modified graphene is prepared by reacting graphene oxide with 3-aminophenylboronic acid. USE - As paint. ADVANTAGE - The paint has excellent stability and corrosion resistance, and is environmentally-friendly, and is prepared by simple and easy process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the paint, which involves (i) adding modified graphene to water, ultrasonically dispersing in an ice-water bath, leaving still, centrifuging, and taking the supernatant to obtain a modified graphene solution, and (ii) mixing the modified graphene solution, epoxy resin, talc powder, sodium silicate, polyacrylamide, n-butanol, carboxymethyl cellulose and glycerol monostearate, uniformly mixing, and adding water to adjust the viscosity.
