▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Manufacture of water purification membrane involves electrospinning polymers into nanofibers, crosslinking the nanofibers to form a membrane, oxidizing pyrrole monomers, depositing nanoparticles on the membrane and washing the membrane. The polymers are selected from PVA, poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM), poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), poly(methacrylic acid) (PMAA), and poly(acrylic acid) (PAA). USE - Manufacture of water purification membrane used for purifying and desalinating contaminated water e.g. wastewater, salt water or contaminated water from industrial process (all claimed) to freshwater. ADVANTAGE - The method produces water purification membrane having excellent mechanical robustness, anti-fouling property, low oil adhesion, durability, solar absorption and super hydrophilic/underwater superoleophobic wettability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) method for purifying contaminated water, which involves flowing the contaminated water through a membrane and purifying the water; and (2) method for desalinating salt water, which involves flowing salt water through a membrane, exposing to sunlight of at least one solar wavelength, converting water to steam, condensing the steam, and recovering the desalinated water.
