ADVANTAGE - The composite photocatalyst has excellent crystallinity and stability, uniform morphology, high photocatalytic activity, strong light absorbing ability and high photoelectron-hole separation efficiency. The preparation of composite photocatalyst is simple, safe, easy to control, carried out under mild conditions, and suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite photocatalyst, which involves adding graphene quantum dots and bismuth tungstate to deionized water, ultrasonically processing, adding hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide to obtain suspension, dissolving bismuth nitrate in glacial acetic acid, adding to suspension, stirring for 20-50 minutes to obtain precursor solution, and subjecting to microwave reaction at 120-160 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours.
