▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Electrospun polymer nanofibrous membrane comprises polyvinylidene fluoride, one or more Tecophilicthermoplastic polyurethanes, or a blend of polyvinylidene fluoride and one or more Tecophilicthermoplastic polyurethanes, where membrane is treated with one or more anti-pathogenic agents. USE - Electrospun polymer nanofibrous membrane used in a facemask or respirator, and used in air filtration applications such as use in air filters for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems or for use in an air filter configured for use in the removal of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and CO2 in conjunction with a carbon nanofiber membrane (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The membrane provides high filtering efficiency and excellent porosity to provide breathability characteristics, provides filtration of chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and other toxic chemical agents, and provides additional or alternate filtration of small particulates and pathogens, does not degrade upon exposure to water or selected organic solvents such as ethanol or acetone, is capable of intercepting and exterminating infectious pathogens on its surfaces, and exhibits high thermal insulation, and photodegradation capability, and allows for efficient VOC degradation and small particle filtration.
