NOVELTY - A graphene/chitosan/cuprous oxide composite material comprises 1 to 3 pts. wt. of graphene, 1 to 3 pts. wt. of chitosan, and 3 to 6 pts. wt. of cuprous oxide. USE - Graphene/chitosan/cuprous oxide composite material used in preparation of visible-light-induced photocatalyst used for organic wastewater treatment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has excellent adsorption and degradation performance with respect to organic pollutant, increased photocatalytic efficiency and good synergetic effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene/chitosan/cuprous oxide composite material, which involves dispersing graphene in water to obtain a mixing liquid, dissolving chitosan in acid solution to obtain chitosan solution, dissolving copper sulfate and reducing agent in water, adding the prepared suspension to chitosan solution and regulating pH to 8-12 to obtain a mixed liquid, adding crosslinking agent to the mixed liquid and reacting at 50-70 degrees C under for 4-8 hours, separating out solid product, washing the solid product and drying, to obtain the graphene/chitosan/cuprous oxide composite material.
