NOVELTY - Preparing of graphene involves mixing solution of an alkali lignin with a solid in mass ratio of 1:5-10. The solution is heated to 70-100 degrees C for 1-3 hours. The solution is filtered after alkali treatment, residue is washed and dried at 60-80 degrees C to obtain lignin. The obtained lignin is treated with catalyst, mixed thoroughly in high pressure homogenizer maintained at 20-100 MPa that causes cleavage of the carbon in a homogenizer to obtain a high energy state which is taken into an autoclave, filled with inert gas, at a rate of 0.1-1 MPa/seconds and mixture is heated at rate of 30-60 degrees C/minutes. USE - Method for preparing graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare graphene in simple, cost effective manner and graphene has wide market prospect.
