NOVELTY - Preparing multifunctional polyethylene film comprises (1) preparing the polyethylene resin and the acrylic ester reaction to obtain polyethylene-acrylic ester copolymer under the action of peroxide initiator and optionally auxiliary agent, (2) mixing the inorganic filler, coupling agent and long carbon chain quaternary ammonium salt in the dispersing medium, adjusting the pH value to 2-7, preferably 2-5, stirring at high speed temperature at 20-80℃, preferably 30-75℃, stirring for 2-12 hours, preferably 5-10 hours and separating the solid to obtain the modified filler and (3) mixing the transition metal carbide with the polyethylene-acrylic ester copolymer to obtain the modified filler and optionally auxiliary agent high speed mixing and compression molding to obtain the multifunctional polyethylene film. USE - The film is useful in energy storage, electronic communication, food packaging and biological medical field (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides multifunctional polyethylene film with excellent electromagnetic shielding performance, gas barrier property and mechanical strength.
