NOVELTY - The preparation of three-dimensional graphene, involves (1) pouring mixed concentrated acid into reaction vessel, adding graphite flakes and potassium permanganate, and reacting under water bath conditions, (2) pouring reaction solution into beaker with ice cubes and adding excess potassium permanganate in hydrogen peroxide reduction system to obtain mixture of graphene oxide, and washing obtained solid with water and ethanol and drying to obtain graphene oxide solid, (3) preparing graphene oxide aqueous solution and placing in hydrothermal reaction kettle for high temperature reaction to obtain graphene oxide composite hydrogel, (4) freeze-drying graphene oxide composite hydrogel and placing in tube furnace for high temperature calcination. USE - Preparation of three-dimensional graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method enables one-step preparation of three-dimensional graphene with enhanced quality, by simple and economical process using low cost raw materials, without requiring severe preparation conditions.
