NOVELTY - Preparation of a composite sponge containing modified graphene comprises mixing graphene oxide with water to obtain a graphene oxide dispersion, mixing a crosslinking agent and the graphene oxide dispersion with a polyamine water-soluble polymer to obtain a modified graphene dispersion; ultrasonically cleaning a sponge, washing and drying to prepare a cleaning sponge; and soaking the cleaning sponge in the modified graphene dispersion, extruding, and dipping. USE - The method is used in preparing a composite sponge containing modified graphene for treating organic dye contaminants in sewage (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite sponge containing modified graphene has high adsorption capacity.
