NOVELTY - Modified asphalt containing nanomaterials comprises 100 parts mass stryene butadiene styrene (SBS) modified asphalt, and 0.002-0.02 part mass modified nano-graphene oxide, where the modified nano-graphene oxide is prepared by (i) mixing and stirring graphite, concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated phosphoric acid, slowly adding potassium permanganate, stirring reaction, (ii) in step (a) gained reaction solution, adding deionized water, adding hydrogen peroxide solution to react, repeatedly washing and centrifuging gained reaction product, peeling-off the graphite oxide and forming a nano-graphene oxide gel, and obtaining the nano-graphene oxide powder by drying, (iii) mixing the polyvinylpyrrolidone aqueous solution with the nanometer graphene oxide powder, the mass ratio of the polyvinylpyrrolidone to the nanometer graphene oxide powder is 1:(2.5-3.5), the ultrasonic dispersion is uniform, stirring the reaction, washing and drying. USE - The modified asphalt containing nanomaterials is used in an asphalt mixture in the construction of asphalt pavement (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified asphalt containing nanomaterials has achieved a certain degree of improvement in temperature sensitivity, viscosity, plasticity and aging resistance, and has practical application value.
