▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A carbon material comprises includes mesopores and has a graphene layered structure, and BET specific surface area of 240 m2/g or more. The mesopores have volume of 0.04 mL/g or more, as determined in accordance with Barrett-Joyner-Halenda method. USE - Carbon material is used as electrode material for electrical storage device (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to nonaqueous electrolyte primary battery, aqueous electrolyte primary battery, nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, capacitor, electrical double layer capacitor, and lithium ion capacitor. ADVANTAGE - The carbon material is capable of improving capacity and rate characteristics of the electrical storage device. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) manufacture of the carbon material, which involves mixing graphite or primary flaky graphite, and resin to form a mixture, adding an activator to the mixture, and performing activation treatment to the mixture; and (2) electrical storage device, which comprises an electrode comprising an electrode material.
