NOVELTY - Method for producing carbon layers containing graphene on nanoparticles, preferably quantum dots, containing at least one semiconductor material and a reaction vessel for obtaining carbon layers on nanoparticles, are claimed. The reaction vessel for the production of carbon layers containing graphene on nanoparticles has a tube as main portion. The reaction vessel is divided into at least two portions of the tube connected with each other with different diameter in cross-section. The vessel contains at least one reaction narrow portion in the form of a funnel made in the tube. The funnel connects the narrow portion of the vessel and the wide portion of the vessel through the inlet of the funnel and the outlet of the funnel. The funnel dimensions are selected in such a way that expressions of Rr less than or equal to h and h/(Rr) less than or equal to 10 are satisfied, where R is outlet radius, r is inlet radius of the funnel, and h is height of the funnel. USE - The method is used for producing carbon layers containing graphene on nanoparticles.
