NOVELTY - Preparation of high-surface area graphene involves mixing graphite oxide with a strong base, pressing after activation, washing, filtering and drying. USE - Preparation of high-surface area graphene used for storing hydrogen, lithium ion battery, super capacitor, fuel cell, nanoelectronic device, high frequency circuit, sensor, electronic gene sequencing and reducing noise. ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides high-surface area graphene, using simple process by consuming reduced amount of energy.
