NOVELTY - Method for preparing monolayer graphene oxide based on blue carbon, involves graphitizing blue charcoal under high temperature conditions, pre-oxidizing the obtained graphite, intercalating oxidation treatment to obtain graphite oxide, and exfoliating the graphite oxide in an aqueous solution to obtain a monolayer graphene oxide dispersion. USE - The method is useful for preparing monolayer graphene oxide based on blue carbon. ADVANTAGE - The method solves the problem of low yield of the separated single-layer graphene and use of sodium nitrate in the Hummers method caused the production of toxic nitrogen oxides during the reaction, and prepares the monolayer graphene at a rate of 99%.
