NOVELTY - A graphene aerogel is prepared by preparing reaction mixture containing graphene oxide (GO) suspension and greater than or equal to 1 catalyst, curing reaction mixture to produce wet gel, drying wet gel to produce dry gel, and pyrolyzing dry gel to produce graphene aerogel. USE - Preparation of graphene aerogel used for composition (claimed) for electrical energy storage e.g. batteries and supercapacitors. ADVANTAGE - Graphene aerogels have high electrical conductivities and large surface areas. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a composition comprising prepared graphene aerogel.
