NOVELTY - A vibrating diaphragm is obtained by adding a damping additive, filler, a structure-control agent, and a crosslinking agent to a polysiloxane basic polymer, mixing, and molding at 80-200degrees Celsius. The damping additive is chosen from modified polysiloxanes in which the main chain has a structure (I). USE - Vibrating diaphragm is used for sound-generating device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The vibrating diaphragm has improved damping performance and can reduce distortion of the sound-generating device by using the damping additive. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A vibrating diaphragm is obtained by adding a damping additive, filler, a structure-control agent, and a crosslinking agent to a polysiloxane as a basic polymer, mixing, and molding at 80-200degrees Celsius. The damping additive is chosen from modified polysiloxanes in which the main chain has a structure of formula (I). R = group of formula (a1) or (a2) or -C3H6NH2; and x-z = 1-1000. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a sound-generating device, which has a vibration system and a magnetic circuit system matched with the vibration system. The vibration system includes the vibrating diaphragm and a voice coil combined on one side of the vibrating diaphragm. The magnetic circuit system drives the voice coil to vibrate to drive the diaphragm to produce sound.
