NOVELTY - A nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide/bismuth iodide oxide-based glucose photoelectrochemical self-powered sensor constructing method involves cutting the indium tin oxide glass and placing in detergent, 1M sodium hydroxide solution, ethanol, and ultrapure water in order to perform ultrasonic treatment. The cleaned glass piece is dried with nitrogen and hydrothermally applied to the nickel oxide nanosheets grown on indium tin oxide glass. The graphene oxide solution is spin-dropped on nickel oxide nano-sheets and calcined to obtain indium tin oxide/nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide. The indium tin oxide/nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide/bismuth iodide oxide is soaked in polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride solution containing sodium chloride, incubated, and added with graphene oxide to the indium tin oxide/nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide/bismuth iodide oxide electrode is combined with polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride and incubated to obtain the finished product. USE - Method for constructing nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide/bismuth iodide oxide-based glucose photoelectrochemical self-powered sensor. ADVANTAGE - The method enables constructing nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide/bismuth iodide oxide with wide detection range, high sensitivity and low detection limit. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide/bismuth iodide oxide-based glucose photoelectrochemical self-powered sensor constructing method involves cutting the indium tin oxide glass into 2x 4 cm2, and placing in detergent, 1M sodium hydroxide solution, ethanol, and ultrapure water in order to perform ultrasonic treatment. The cleaned glass piece is dried with nitrogen and hydrothermally applied to the nickel oxide nanosheets grown on indium tin oxide glass. 200 mu L graphene oxide solution is spin-dropped on nickel oxide nano-sheets, calcined at 400 degrees C for 30 minutes, and hydrothermally reduced to obtain indium tin oxide/nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide. The indium tin oxide/nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide is dipped in bismuth iodide oxide solution for 2 minutes, rinsed quickly with an ethanol for three times, and dry. The ultrapure water is dipped for 1 minute to dry, and repeat the whole cycle three times. The indium tin oxide/nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide/bismuth iodide oxide is soaked in 10 mu L of 2% polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride solution containing 0.5 M sodium chloride, incubate at room temperature for 2 hours, and added with 10 mu L of 0.5 mgmL-1 graphene oxide dropwise to the indium tin oxide/nickel oxide/reduced graphene oxide/bismuth iodide oxide electrode is combined with polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride and incubated at 4 degrees C for 1-2 hours to obtain the finished product.
