NOVELTY - High quality graphene is prepared by taking graphite intercalation compound including halogen or metal halide as intercalation agent as raw material, swelling in oxalic acid solution or hydrogen peroxide solution, and ultrasonically peeling in solvent. The method comprises adding graphite intercalation compound powder to oxalic acid solution or hydrogen peroxide solution and swelling; and ultrasonically vibrating swelled vermicular graphene aggregate in organic solvent, surfactant aqueous solution, and organic solvent solution and dispersing graphene. USE - Method for preparing high quality graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and easy to control, and has high efficiency and low cost preparation. It solves problems in conventional graphene preparation technology of high cost, low yield and low quality. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - High quality graphene is prepared by taking graphite intercalation compound including halogen or metal halide as intercalation agent as raw material, swelling in oxalic acid solution or hydrogen peroxide solution, and ultrasonically peeling in solvent. The method comprises: (A) adding graphite intercalation compound powder to oxalic acid solution or hydrogen peroxide solution ( greater than or equal to 15 wt.%), and swelling at temperature of 0-100 degrees C for 0.5-24 hours to obtain highly swelled vermicular graphene aggregate; (B) ultrasonically vibrating swelled vermicular graphene aggregate in organic solvent, surfactant aqueous solution, organic solvent solution for 1 minute to 5 hours; (C) dispersing graphene in solvent to obtain graphene solution; and (D) spray drying or freeze drying to remove organic solvent or surfactant to obtain high quality graphene powder.
