NOVELTY - A Nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanorods covered foam graphene sheet lithium-sulfur battery comprises anode, cathode and electrolyte. A separator is arranged between anode and cathode. A nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanorods covered foam graphene sheet is arranged between anode and separator. USE - Nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanorods covered foam graphene sheets lithium-sulfur battery. ADVANTAGE - The nanoporous structure on the surface of the carbon nanorods grown on the graphene surface and the large number of carbon-nitrogen active sites generated by the nitrogen atom doping enhances material transfer and exchange during charge and discharge of battery, improves electron transfer ability of the anode surface, nitrogen-doped carbon-nitrogen active sites and nano-micropores can adsorb polysulfide produced by the positive electrode, prevents migration and dissolution into the electrolyte solution, and improves cycle stability of lithium-sulfur battery.
