NOVELTY - Preparing high-adhesion flame-retardant polyamide 6 (PA6) material comprises e.g. (1) wiping the surface of PA6 with acetone, removing oil stains, drying, treating the surface of PA6 using plasma processor, where the power of the instrument is 1000W, the distance is 10mm, the processing time is 60 seconds, and the processing atmosphere is air to obtain modified PA6, (2) mixing 100 pts. wt. modified PA6 with 5-8 pts. wt. xylene, stirring evenly, adding 20 pts. wt. water to premix for 30 minutes, and heating to 80-100℃, and (3) adding 10-15 pts. wt. maleic anhydride and 1-2 pts. wt. benzoyl peroxide to react for 0.5 hour, repeating for 3 times, and reacting for 1.5 hours, (4) carrying out hot water washing, and drying to obtain maleic anhydride graft-modified PA6. USE - The method is useful for preparing high-adhesion flame-retardant polyamide 6 material. ADVANTAGE - The method modifies surface by using plasma to treat PA6, forms oxygen and nitrogen containing polar groups on the surface, which is easier to graft with maleic anhydride, improves polarity, and increases bonding performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing high-adhesion flame-retardant polyamide 6 (PA6) material comprises (1) wiping the surface of PA6 with acetone, removing oil stains, drying, treating the surface of PA6 using plasma processor, where the power of the instrument is 1000W, the distance is 10mm, the processing time is 60 seconds, and the processing atmosphere is air to obtain modified PA6, (2) mixing 100 pts. wt. modified PA6 with 5-8 pts. wt. xylene, stirring evenly, adding 20 pts. wt. water to premix for 30 minutes, and heating to 80-100℃, (3) adding 10-15 pts. wt. maleic anhydride and 1-2 pts. wt. benzoyl peroxide to react for 0.5 hour, repeating for 3 times, and reacting for 1.5 hours, (4) carrying out hot water washing, and drying to obtain maleic anhydride graft-modified PA6, (5) mixing 60 pts. wt. maleic anhydride graft-modified PA6, 10-15 pts. wt. flame retardant, 10-20 pts. wt. carbon silicon mesh, 1-3 pts. wt. tackifier and 0.5-1 pts. wt. antioxidant, melting and blending with double-screw extruder, where the temperature of the first zone is 200℃, the temperature of the second to twelve zones is 260℃, the head temperature is 270℃, the screw speed is 300 revolutions/minute, and the feeding rate is 50kg/hours, (6) cooling the extruded strip in a water tank, cutting into particles with length of 3-4 mm, and (7) drying the granules, and injection molding.
