NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide/hemin/titanium dioxide nanocomposite catalyst involves mixing hemin and titanium dioxide into a graphene oxide solution, vigorously stirring and ultrasonically vibrating the resulting mixture at room temperature, subjecting the resultant to centrifugation and filtration several times, and dessicating the resultant at 65 degrees C. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide/hemin/titanium dioxide nanocomposite catalyst for analyzing degradation rate of organic pollutants (claimed) during wasterwater treatment. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and rapid preparation of the catalyst having excellent stability and dispersibility in aqueous solution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for analyzing the degradation rate of organic pollutants, which involves suspending the catalyst in organic pollutants aqueous solution, magnetically stirring the suspension for 20 minutes in dark to ensure adsorption-desorption equilibrium, exposing the resultant to visible light radiation at a light intensity of 0.7 W, and centrifuging the resultant.
