NOVELTY - Nitrogen and phosphorus doped graphene gel electrochemical storage electrode comprises graphene oxide black gel composite electrode which has three dimensional structure, where graphene is modified graphene, and surface and interlayer is doped with nitrogen and phosphorus atoms with 1-6 graphene sheet layer. USE - Nitrogen and phosphorus doped graphene gel electrochemical storage electrode. ADVANTAGE - The nitrogen and phosphorus doped graphene gel electrochemical storage electrode is prepared in cost effective manner which has low energy consumption and good performance of sodium ion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing nitrogen and phosphorus doped graphene gel electrochemical storage electrode, which involves: (A) dispersing graphene oxide in water to obtain graphene oxide solution; (B) mixing nitrogen-containing organic compound to graphene oxide solution ultrasonically followed by hydro thermal reaction; (C) cooling, freezing and drying to obtain graphene hydrogel containing nitrogen; (D) adding phosphorus in tubular furnace, filling nitrogen or argon gas for annealing process to obtain nano material; (E) using nanometre material as electrochemical storage active material and mixing with acetylene black and caking agent to prepare slurry, coating on copper foil as current collector; and (F) drying and rolling to obtain nitrogen-phosphorus-doped graphene gel electrochemical storage electrode.
