NOVELTY - Device (10) comprises at least one first chamber (11) for cleaning substrate using plasma cleaning, at least one second chamber (12) for coating the substrate with at least one accelerator fluid and/or optionally at least one catalyst, at least one third chamber (13) for growing carbon nanotubes on the coated substrate, and at least one fourth chamber (14) for collecting the carbon nanotubes from the substrate and optionally spinning the carbon nanotubes into thread, where the chambers are arranged to each other around vertical or horizontal axis of symmetry, where the substrate is arranged on support structure that is able to rotate around axis, the substrate is transported subsequently through each of chambers during one full rotation of support structure. The substrate is made of multiple layers of high temperature polymer, carbon fibers, metal, or metal alloys, quartz, silicon, silicon carbide, silica, alumina, alumino-silicate (zeolite), calacium carbonate, magnesium oxide. USE - The device is useful for producing carbon nanotubes, and/or graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device provides carbon nanotube yarn having improved yarn strength.
