NOVELTY - A carbon nano material is obtained by using multi-wall carbon nano tubes as raw materials, and chemical oxidation method to prepare carbon tube-graphene heterostructure carbon nano material. USE - Carbon nano material for detecting glucose, developing third generation of glucose sensor, and for use in fields of other sensors and electrochemistry. ADVANTAGE - The material has better glucose detection performance, high compatibility for glucose oxidase, high sensitivity, wide detection range and high interference resistance during detecting glucose. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a carbon nano material, which involves mixing multi-walled carbon nanotube and concentrated vitriol, followed by adding phosphoric acid, stirring uniformly, slowly adding potassium permanganate, mixing in a constant temperature water bath at low speed stirring to obtain mixed solution, allowing the mixed solution to stand at room temperature, adding ice water and hydrogen peroxide, standing and layering, removing supernatant, lower and layer with hydrochloric acid and deionized water, filtering the supernatant, washing the filtrate with deionized water and neutralizing to obtain carbon tube-graphene heterostructure carbon nano material.
