NOVELTY - Electrochemical device comprises a packaging case. The packaging case includes a first packaging body and a second packaging body. A partition is provided between first packing body and second packing body. The two surfaces of the partition are hermetically connected to first packing body and the second packing body respectively to define a first cavity and a second cavity on both sides of the partition. A first electrode assembly and a second electrode assembly are correspondingly provided in first cavity and second cavity. A first tab is connected to first electrode assembly. A second tab is connected to second electrode assembly. The first tab is provided with a first bent portion. The height of the first bent portion is greater than the thickness of the first electrode assembly. The height of first bent portion is maximum distance from first bent portion to side of the first electrode assembly facing the first packaging body in thickness direction of the first electrode assembly. USE - The device is useful in electronic device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device has good energy density.
