NOVELTY - Absorption material is prepared by dispersing graphene oxide in polyvinyl alcohol solution, uniformly mixing, filtering the mixture to obtain a graphene oxide film under vacuum, and reducing using hydrazine hydrate. USE - Absorption material is useful for removing trace arsenic in water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The absorption material has high trace arsenic removal efficiency of more than 99%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for removing trace arsenic in water, which involves adding 0.1-5 mg/l arsenic to water, uniformly mixing, adjusting pH value to 2-9, adding 0.1-0.4 g/l adsorption material to the mixture, and stirring for more than 12 hours.
